André Nunes

Professor André Nunes is the head instructor and founder of Gracie Barra Sternschanze. Born in Brazil, André began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey at a young age and has dedicated his life to the art, accumulating over two decades of teaching experience on multiple continents.

A 4th Degree Black Belt, André has competed at the highest levels of the sport, earning five European Championship titles throughout his competitive career. His technical depth, patient teaching style, and genuine passion for the art have made him one of the most respected BJJ instructors in Hamburg.
